FAQs

Q?What if I don’t need a full scale PP&C and EVMS service?
A.

At Quviant, we offer scalable PP&C architecture – Not all programs or projects are large and highly complex requiring a full-up array of PP&C and EVMS processes, methods and reporting. Some need a fair amount of monitoring and reporting, but not everything under the sun. Others hardly need any.

Q?Do you offer PP&C and EVMS services on-site only?
A.

At Quviant, we can guide you through a fully compliant Tier 1 EVMS implementation with all 32 criteria to a Tier 3 implementation utilizing full time employees. However, if your program or project does not require a full-time scheduler, cost/financial or budget analyst or any other program support personnel – use Quviant’s PP&C and EVMS remote service option. We work remotely and virtually to save you significant time and money.

Q?What is the IPM Manager Software?
A.

Integrated Program Manager (IPM) is a software package designed to capture program data that tells you in advance how well you’re doing executing your contract in a way that is smart, affordable, scalable and when required – Government DCMA compliant.

Q?I currently use Microsoft Project. Do you offer any software programs that I can use with MS project to help me identify the critical paths?
A.

Yes. The Quviant Critical Path Tool seamlessly ‘bolts’ on to Microsoft Project. It displays a graphic representation of up to 5 critical paths and their associated integration points and provides a quick analysis of the critical paths to Major Milestones in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Q?Our division just had a reduction in force (RIF). We lost key staff members. Can you help?
A.

Quviant helps you by providing flexibility and options that you need to quickly implement plans that keep the gears of your business operations turning. We’ll deliver the people you need, when you need them – qualified, vetted, and ready to go.

Q?Does Quviant comply with PMI standards?
A.

We’re PMI Certified PMP’s and EVP’s, and we’ll implement sound PP&C and EVMS best practices, processes, guidelines, and tools and bring the right people to assure complete success. Fast! We apply recognized standards and methods specific to your industry while integrating the right set of solutions tailored to address your distinctive cost, schedule, and technical challenges for program or project.

Q?How do you address systems engineering full life cycle?
A.

Quviant’s approach to Systems Engineering stems from its purest definition, combined with a strong dose of EVMS and PP&C at its core.

We start with a complete understanding of the statement of work (SOW), an understanding of the culture, the major milestones, including the cost and schedule profile. We then move on to defining, designing, gathering and documenting requirements, which lead to the designing, validating, testing and training of those systems.
